Introduction of Yinshan Lake Middle School Affiliated to Soochow University
[Basic situation]
Our school is located by Yinshan Lake, Suzhou. It’s not only a vibrant school but also a education modernization school in Suzhou. Our school covers an area of 67989 square meters. The building area is about 70561 square meters. We have twenty-two classes. Eighty teachers work here, including fourteen teachers with graduate degree or master's degree. We have a superb teacher team. They lead subject teaching in our district. Some even lead in Suzhou.

Our school holds to the idea of “Education aims to direct students unto a full grown man”. This idea is applied to our daily teaching affairs. We stick to the rules of education, and grasp the nucleus idea of “all for the students, for all the students”. We propose the characteristics of science, sports and art first. We also set the goal , that is, the school has the brand, the teacher has the brand name, the student has the specialty. We strengthen the teaching management continually, deepen educational teaching reform, and positively promote the quality education. We adhere to moral education with the three reforms of school curriculum, classroom teaching and evaluation system. We devote to creating three major features in sports and art, models, international communication, and promoting the healthy, sustainable and harmonious development of teachers and students.
In recent years, our school has formed the school characteristics of "outstanding + expertise". The quality of teaching is increasing and social reputation continues to rise. Our school has been named the provincial quality education advanced school, the provincial green school, the entitled City Education Modernization school, the City moral education advanced school, the City Youth Science and technology education characteristic school, the City Sports Advanced School, etc.
